Default 2012 Rubicon regearing

I have a 2012 JKU Rubi. I was wondering if anyone has regeared one sucessfully. Im running 35's, but would like to upgrade in the future. Any help or info would be great.

You don't need to regear. I have the same gears and trans in my rubi and I'm running 37'' BFG km2's, just buy an AEV PROCAL and it will change the shift points and drive like it did stock. I love the procal, its an awesome lil gadget

Really, well its definatley cheeper than a gear job what kind if gas milage are you getting?

Procal doesnt alter shift points, only resets speedo, tpms, running lights, etc. However, i do agree that a regear is not necessary. I ran 37 trail graps on my 12 jkur with auto 4.10 and was happy.

Correct but not correct... It does not directly alter the shift points but it fixes speedo which is what tells the car when to shift so therefore changing shift points indirectly. I'm just being a pest lol. But you're right, you cannot dictate your own choice of shift points with the procal.

I do believe the tranny shifts off of rpm and not speed, lol!

A procal will not change the performance of your jeep. It will tell you how fast you are really going and it will turn off your tpms if you dont have sensors, plus a few other little things. It is not an alternative to gears if you are looking to regain lost power
