Default Adjustable Rear Track Bar questions?

I currently have a 4 inch lift with a rear track bar relocation bracket. I want to get a rear adjustable track bar and ditch the bracket. I have read that keeping the bracket (with the adj track bar) is optimal.

Is this true? If so, is there a way to ditch the bracket?

Thanks..............

It's best to get rid of the bracket I believe and just go with a beefy adj. trackbar. I have a Teraflex but JKS etc. are good as well.

The less angle of the track bar the better for handling; especially at 4 inch lift. Having a bracket that raises the bar more parallel is optimal with an adjustable bar. The factory bracket is weak and can break under stress.

With a 4" lift, you need the bracket. Weld that baby on and forget about it.

^^^^what they said. at that lift height u want the bracket(as long as it is an axle side bracket and not frameside). it raises the roll center to optimize handling. no need to use both a bracket and trackbar. waste of money to buy and adjustable trackbar and adjust it to stock length. save your money.

I have the AEV, but I would get a bolt on Teraflex bracket with monster bar or if you want simplicity but one that requires welding, the Rock Krawler is stout. The AEV bracket is stout, but the bar is non adjustable and only has holes for 3.5 and 4.5 lifts.PolyPerformance is another great option.

I have the Rock Krawler "Bomb Proof" rear adjustable track bar with RK bracket. No issues. You bolt on the bracket initially and then weld it before you do any serious off-roading. You cant go wrong with Teraflex either.
