Default Alignment off after TF 2.5 BB lift?

I hear a little weird "rubber rubbing" sound after putting the kit on. Have spacers, have checked everywhere, but can't see anything that would rub. Tires I ordered arriving tomorrow. Ordered alignment too, but just wonder if the kit install could impact the alignment also...

That lift recommends using spacers ir aftermarket wheels. Make sure your tires arent rubbing anything

Only thing they can rub is the ground, as far as I can see. So I hope it's the alignment...

And as mentioned, got the stock wheels with 1.5" spacers on now

If swapping tires and getting the alignment done tomorrow fixes it, I'll post it here, in case others have the same issue.

Double check to make sure your swaybar links are not rubbing your tires.....

For sure. Have checked and double checked. Not even close, after I put the spacers on

As far as alignment goes without an adjustable front track bar or adjustable control arms, there's not much an alignment shop can do other then straighten your steering wheel (centering it) and adjusting your toe - in/out, all of which can be easily done at home with simple tools....

Sounds good, and I will save this link for later, when I have gained more knowledge. But getting my 2013 from the showroom floor just 3 days ago, I will make sure to have my kit install and the alignment double checked by someone who knows what their doing (unlike me. It's my first JK).
After that I will try to find a local trail in Orange County, to check that everything works before I go on a longer trip next weekend.
Thanks for the advice!

Unless you have no time or no place to work, I'd go to the DIY alignment link and get under there. Its never too soon to start learning the front end.

About all that can change with a 2.5 lift is the steering wheel center and the castor. The castor can't be changed without adjustable front control arms or a geometry bracket. The steering wheel can be re-centered in about 5 minutes with one wrench. It doesn't take any special tools, skill, or measuring equipment.

Toe-in and camber don't change with a lift.

There is one good thing that can come out of an alignment shop: A measurement of the castor angle. That way you know if you want/need to add some components to let you set the castor. But there is no hurry to get the castor checked because it can't be changed right now anyway.

In any case, its unlikely that anything about the alignment would cause or cure something rubbing.

Edit: Just remembered you are in 2012-13. There are rubbing issues with the exhaust and possibly the front drive shaft that didn't happen with the '07-'11.

I will know after tomorrow.
No time or desire to work on this Sunday night, but I never checked the drive shaft or the exhaust. So maybe there are some rubbing there..
