oil change message

I got an oil change early, before it was due, and now a few weeks later I'm getting the "Oil Change Required" message every time I start it up. What gives!?

Same for me. I'm guessing since the oil change indicator wasn't on when the stealership changed the oil, they didn't bother to reset the oil change monitor. I haven't gotten around to doing that myself but instructions are in the owner's manual.

Turn key to on position (don't start the motor) then it's either A) pump brake or B) pump gas three times. I forget what one. Then turn vehicle off. Then start motor no msg. :-)
