Default Will 2.5" Shocks work with a 2" spacer lift up front?

Guys, need some help with a potential lift option. I am about to put on the TeraFlex Leveling Kit on my 2013 Rubicon Unlimited (Auto) and I know I can keep my current Rubi shocks front and rear, after I put in the new front sway bar links.

The reason for that lift is to limit impact to drive shaft and exhaust cross over. But, I have a set of the TeraFlex Elka Reservoir shocks from my 2010 that did have the 2.5" TF coil lift. I am thinking the front shocks would fit since the leveling kit is 2" of lift, and the rears may not, with only 1" spacer to level it.....and I have an offer from someone to buy the rears.

So the question is will the Elkas for a 2.5" lift work with a 2" spacer up front?

Would the longer length cause problems with the sway bar links being too short?

Would the longer droop cause the issues with the drive shaft hitting the exhaust at full disconnected droop?

Would the compression require longer bumpstops? Or travel limiting straps?

Anything else I am missing regarding a longer shocks?

Looking for some guidance from anyone with some good experience with suspension system integration and parts relationships....thanks A LOT on the front end.

William

William what i can tell you is the sway bar links that come with the TF leveling kit are good for up to 3 inches of lift and yes you would want longer bump-stops. sorry I cannot offer anymore then that but IMHO i think you would be fine using the shocks.

Longer bump stops not to bottom out the shocks and spring retainer clips. With the longer down travel you might loose a spring at full flex.

I had thought about that, and I know the rear cup has a little retainer feature, but yeah, the front would need something.
And if I disconnected, I would think the full droop would also cause contact between the front drive shaft and the exhaust cross-over.

Probably not going to work, but worth a shot.....still looking for someone that might have run 2.5" Shocks or extension with a basic leveling kit on the 2012 or 2013 JKU with Auto.....anyone, Bueller, Bueller?

Big questions are:
1. Damaging shocks without a change to bumpstops at full compression - Fixed with bumpstop extension, but how long if necessary....
2. Contact with exhaust at full droop - Fixed with exhaust spacer, but won't install shocks if I have to do this.....
3. Unseating a spring at full droop - Fixed with spring retainers, and not a deal breaker in my book.....
