Just press the button. It is easier and cheaper, and gives better performance, 'cause you won't likely regear to 5.38.

I have Toyo 315/65r16 and 3.73 gears. I hooked up a procal to it. It's fine. I hit about 2500 rpm at 70. It does kick down a gear going up hill but with the gearing its reasonable. I will regear when I up to a pro rock or a dynatrack

One more thing. You can spend $150 on a pro cal vs $1000 for regear. Try the cheap version first and go from there

I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's ass, but I'd rather take a butcher's word for it....

Do it RIGHT the first time. That's all the advice I got for ya...

I put a 2.5" Teraflex on a 2013 four door with 3.73 gearing in the rear that came with the max tow pack. Added 35" tires and Bilstein shocks and used an AEV Procal to recalibrate the speedo. Rides better, and notice no difference in performance. The Jeep feels like it was made for this mod. Go for it!

2013 versus his 2008. huge difference.

personally id spend the coin and get gears. if you never plan on getting bigger tires, you could get 4.88s. i recommend getting 5.13s. allows for the chance you get bigger tires later on down the road. youd have to get a procal anyway to change the speedo for the new tires, it can correct for the gears too.
