Default Reviews on Rusty's off road

Anyone have any reviews on Rusty's off road? I was thinking about buying "long arms" from them. Everyone else sells the factory size adjustable..... I already have a 4" Skyjacker lift now I want to make it a long arm lift, not an adjustable arm lift...... So unless anyone has anything bad to say about this company I'm gonna buy this..... Thanks for any input

HAPPY JEEPIN EVERYONE!

Don't you need new control arm mounts for a Long Arm lift as well? If they went into the same mounting places on the Frame, you would have the same geometry.

For Long Arm lifts you need to bolt on or weld on new Frame Side mounts further away from each axle to reduce the angle of the control arms caused by stock length arms and 4"+ lifts.

Lol, ok. That's good.

Wanted to make sure you were on the right track. I haven't heard many bad things and what few things I have heard about their stuff is fairly good. I'd say go for it if you like their warranty and customer service.

I have their lift on my Liberty and it's OK. I didn't like the fitment of the rear shocks, the eye is too narrow and crushed the shock mount a little bit. They should have gotten the correct shock for the Liberty. I think I would give another company a look to see if they have something else. I have heard of a few people who really like their product.

Their joints are not very good. They begin to squeek very quickly, and you need to literally tear them down, clean them, and repack with grease before every wheeling trip to shut them up. They have been replaced with Currie joints instead, problem solved. I have no rustys gear on my JK, I'm referring to an XJ.

Hey go for it!! I'm a fan of Rusty's stuff. I have their HD steering components for my XJ and their Evap Skid for my JK. I'm happy with the quality and how stout they are. Plus their customer service was great.

Hopefully they took more time on their jk parts winklehawk....... WheelinWv I'm not a big fan of squeeks but I can live with some noise, as long as it's not too much lol..... JeepersLife, so u also have their parts too? But u have no problems? And customer service is good, that's always a plus!

Yes I do have their parts and I haven't had any problems with them. The Evap skid is solid, it's taken a few good hits and no damage other than scratches.
