Default Teraflex 2.5 lift kit advice

Am planning on installing the teraflex 2.5 with the 9550 suspension, am running 285 70 r17 BFG AT, I have got a good deal on them through a friend but after reading couple of threads am really not in favor of making my ride rough on road and off road.

please advice, will it change after some time or this setup is like that ??

When you change your coils and/or shocks, your ride will change, and stay that way. It will not settle..
I decided to go with the Teraflex 2.5 Budget boost to keep my new Rubicon springs and shocks, and bought the Nitto Terra Grappler 285/75R17 (AT, like yours) on stock rims (spacers needed).
I don't plan on putting any heavy bumpers, winch, ++ on mine for now, so I don't need other coils to keep it from sagging.
The BB covers what I was looking for.
I would say the only difference is better stability on road due to the AT tires. Off road there will be both positive and negative consequences with my setup.

I have more ground clearance due to my lift (but not as good articulation as if I changed the coils and shock's), but less traction in mud due to AT tires... I don't see mud often where I go, so I prefer the complete silence of an AT on the freeway.

It's all about your preferences, and how much you want to spend.

Watch your PSI in your tires, keep it in the 28-32 range.
Add a set of front lower adjustable control arms so you can set your caster correctly.

My friend has the lift it sounds like you are looking at, he's had it a while and likes it, I know he's put a lot of miles on it too.

I have a different lift, but others had said it would be very harsh. I actually think being a little more firm that stock made the Jeep feel better on and off road.

I wouldn't think it's necessary, just adds some adjustability. I'm at a year with a 2.5 lift and its been more than sufficient as coils, shocks and sway bar end links.

I see in your profile you have the same lift I am looking at. How much lift does it really give you? Did it level at your jeep out? and do you think 35"s will fit?

I love mine and it fits 315/75r16 no problem. Only think I can tell you to watch out for is when drill the hole for the track bar bracket mite not line up. So measure and check twice, drill once. He's a pic to see how it sits

I have the 2.5" coil lift with adjustable lower control arms and adjustable track bar. Before I put the arms and track bar on it the ride was flighty, after I put them on the ride is like factory!!
