Default Rugged Ridge Snorkel?

has anyone had any experience with the rugged ridge snorkel?

a member in the club i belong to has one and it looks great

its a simple design that doesn't have you cutting holes in your hood or fender, instead it replaces a small piece of the area right above the antenna

and the price is under $400, which probably sounds like a lot until you look at all the other snorkels out there, most of which i find visually hideous

Yes...

There is a 490+ long thread with pictures, write ups, reviews, and specs on the snorkel. Do a simple search for it.

Simple, yet you have to take off the front fender panel, which is tedious & time consuming. Looks worth it tho. I'm probably going to tackle this over Xmas... only I heard RR is releasing a slightly new modified design version after the new year, so I may have to wait for that release.

I love mine. Nothing but compliments on it. A little tedious to install for a non-essential mod but I've always wanted one.

Currently we have a 3.8L version of the snorkel system, we have slightly revised it for the 3.6L Pentastar that was released with the '12+ models. The 3.6L kit will be available in early 2013, I hope that helps!
