Default Lift Suggestions for a new guy

Hi All,

I just picked up my first Jeep in about 15 years (2008 JK) and need some advice on a lift. I'm not planning on doing any serious off-roading, more like trips to the snow and camping trips with my 2 boys. I just need something that'll let me put 33" tires on it and do well in semi-rough terrain. Guess I'm kind of looking for a quality, complete "camping dad" lift kit. Any suggestions??

You can run 33s w/o a lift and get wheel spacers to keep from rubbing.

Check out teraflex coil lift. Welcome to The forum. They are easy to install too.

Get a leveling kit, nice blistien shocks and wheels and tires.

Leveling kit less then $100.00 not needed but will give you no rub up front

Blistien shocks ~ $320.00 .. not needed but will improve the ride

Wheels and tires less then $1500.00. I would go for a 33x10.50r15 because you don't need a 12.50. For the wheels I would get some nice 15x8 with 4.50 or less backspacing.

I say stay away from wheel spacer because you would have to check them every 3k or 4k miles.
