Default 2.5" lift...AEV or Rubicon Express

Looking to upgrade from my leveling kit to a slightly taller lift. I've decideied between aev and Rubicon express. Not sure which one to go with. I like aev's progressive rate coil springs. I also like rubicon's price and I know there known for quality. I know go bigger is better but I can't around here and pass inspection.

Love my 2.5" AEV lift with correction brackets, handles better than stock. I have wheeled it at Rausch Creek and some other hard trails in my area without issue. I see you have a 2 door but this is how my JKU sits with 315/70 DuraTracs. This was at Rausch Creek.

So why only AEV or RE? What about TF,RK and the whole host of others? I asked because I am still trying to figure out which lift is best for me.

I've over don't my research and I'm leaning towards aev. I like their progressive springs and tuned shocks. They cost a little more but you get a little more. Rubicon because I know their quality. I had a TF 2.5 before and it seamed like they lift a little higher and everyone recommended front a rear track bars plus a front drive shaft at some point. RK seams to lack all the pieces everyone else has. I really like the aev springs because of the weight of my bumpers and skid plates. Just my 2 cents from my research.

Funny. I am in the same boat. Have the coil TF leveling kit and Fox shocks but need to go a little bigger (or replace the rear Fox shocks) as I was sent shocks that are too long for my lift.

Really what I want is simply progressive rate kit that is 2.5" (without the shocks). AEV was the direction I was leaning but I don't want to re-purchase shocks too...

Keep the 2.5" recos coming. Love to hear more ideas.

Thanks

Correction brackets can't do that and it handles better on and off road than stock. And this is 93% flex with out a front driveshaft change. And when I do I'll get more.

What pieces do you think the RK kits are lacking? Which RK kit(s) did you consider?

There are no brake lines or drop brackets with 2.5 stock kit. Also shocks which I would prefer them to tuned to the springs for that kinda money. That and the rear track bar bracket scares me when you compare it to aev's. Also I wonder why they include a front track bar. Their springs don't look like aev's but there progressive rate? I don't know. Just my thoughts. I don't want to say their a bad company, I just don't know enough I guess.

Take a look at off road evolution. They have 3" comfort ride springs (I think that's the name). They might work with your shocks but be sure to get all the other things needed when going to that height.
