Default 37 x 13.5 x 17 Toyo MTs on 17 x 7.5 Stock Wheel???

Is anyone running this combo of stock rubi wheels 17 x 7.5 with 37 x 13.5 x 17 TOYO MTs ??? Seems like a 12.5 width tire is the limits on a 7.5 wheel, but???? Would the 13.5 TOYO be too wide? Let me know what your experiences are...

If you're running this set up, pics would be great to see how the tire "bulges"....

That wide of a tire is too wide for a 7.5 wide wheel. Ideally, the best width is 11, but you can put it on as low as 8.5. Again, 7.5 will not work.

With a 12.5" tire your suppose to have a 8" wide rim minimum. People do run them on stock 7.5" rims but you have to watch running to low of air. And I would figure they cup and wear out the mid of the tread first.

Don't know about the toyo but I have bfg 35x12.50's on stock 18x7.5 and I have a set of 325-60r18 (33x13) on stock 18's as well and the 13's look to be the limit on that size wheel but that a 33 on 18's, 37's on 17's with a lot more side wall might be ok but the issue would if you air down on the trail you might pop a bead

Definitely need wider wheels. It will limit the contact patch of the tire and potentially cause funny handling characteristics and wear.

Hey Jake - never heard of your place before. I'm in Morris County also and you're about 20 minutes from me. I checked out your site, you have good prices. Do you do installs? Maybe send me a PM and introduce/explain some details. Would like to maybe swing by as well and check out your shop(assuming you have one that is).

I run 12.50's on the 7.5" wheels and they are fine, but honestly I wouldn't go any wider than that. As it is, the sidewalls are pretty much flat, but lowering the air pressure has them wearing good. I would go with a 12.50 tire, or a wider wheel

Soooo... looks like the stock 7.5" wide rims are out. Should I go with 8" or 9" wide? I'm leaning to 9" since it seems the 8" is suggested for 12.50" wide tires. The TOYO MTs are 13.50".....
