Default 1" lift- What size tire will I be able yo run with a 1 inch body lift kit?

My budget is tight and I can only afford a 1 inch body lift and was wondering the biggest tire I would be able to to run with the lift. If you have pictures please post! Thank You!!!!

You can do 33's with no lift.

With a 1" body you could probably run 35's for the street but if you try to go offroad you will probably stuff the tire into the flare under full compression.

Would strongly recommend waiting til you could get at least a 2.5" budget boost for about $150. Will give you much more flexibility than a body lift and you can run up to 35s easily.

Where did you get all your gear from and did you install it yourself?

Is that all you need to add to run 35s or did you need springs and backspacings? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I just got my first jeep two weeks ago and trying to learn all I can before I make any modificationd

It's all good. Yes, that is all you would need to run 35s. I ran a 2.5" BB with 35s for over a year no problems. No springs needed for a budget boost - it's just polyurethane spacers that go under your stock coils. If/when you move up to a more advanced lift, you will get new springs that are a true height increase - not just pushed up with spacers. Budget boosts are more than capable though and much better than a body lift for numerous reasons.

So for backspacing, you can either run wheel spacers if using the stock wheels or buy after market wheels with 4.25 or less back spacing for 35s.

Hope this helps.

Check out the Rough Country 2.5" budget boost - I ran it as do many others. Great, affordable starting lift for the new Jeeper
