Default How do youguys adjust tire pressure?

If you'll go some offroading, how do you deflate and inflate your tire?

Everybody has portable air compressor? Or set compressor under hood? Or just go with normal tire pressure?

Wonder...

o and I'm thinking to buy arb high output. but they have 12v and24v. which one do i have to buy? depends on my car battery volt?

Deflate with tire deflators. Google em. Inflate with somewhat heavy duty portable compressor. Cheap one is 75 by smittybilt.

So apparently you already have an idea.
Your jk is 12 volt. You can hook a 24 volt compressor to it, but it will only run at half capacity. Stick to 12 volt.

I believe that JeepSwag had a pretty sweet deal on an On board Air setup under the hood for like $199. Not overly expensive and great reviews.

I use Staun tire deflators to deflate. It took me just 1 time deflating tires manually to realize I won't be able to live without tire deflators. In the end I air up with a portable VIAIR 400 compressor. Takes about 2:30 minutes to air up from 14psi to 32psi 315/75/16 tire. About 3 minutes from 10psi to 30/32psi. I don't see much advantage having on board air. Portable works just as well, and less clutter under the hood.

Warn PowerPlant could be the solution but the price is far away in space.

I use ARB's quick EZ deflator w/ gauge, (far left on tailgate) and Viair under hood compressor ($200). Works great.

I found a great deal on a digital tire pressure gauge from amazon...also have simple el cheapo gauge as a back up.

Here is the compressor that Jeepswag is running the deal on, I paid extra for the higher quality air line. Thing works like a charm.
