Default Arb deluxe vs rampage recovery front bumpers...

The 13 Rubi I ordered is being built as I speak so I am gathering parts. I will be running a 4.5" lift with 38x15.5x20 Toyo Muds. The backspacing on the wheels is 4.56.

Does anybody know if my tires will rub the ARB bumper? My last Rubi had a mid width so I didnt have tio worry about that. Any input would be appreciated.

There just doesn't seem to be many folks running full width bumpers in general and I dont recall seeing any with tires that big. AEV has indentations on the inside of theirs to allow for clearance of 37s. I pulled up the ARB directions and there isn't anything similar where the wing bracing is. Hopefully someone knows but ARB is more marketed to expedition style modding which doesn't typically include that tire size.

I talked to David at Northridge who I will buy the bumper from and he says I shouldnt have a problem (I trust he would know), I just wanted to see if anyone else had a wide tire set up with a full width bumper.

I have the ARB deluxe with stock wheels, 3.5 inches of lift, 1.5 spacers and 35 in tires. They will rub if Im turning and flexed up but not under normal driving. If I spaced the support bracket with about a 1 inch spacer, I wouldn't have any trouble. I also have a 2 inch extended bump stop.

Your Rig is the entire reason why I was thinking of this bumper!
