Default Rock Krawler 3.5 and Synergy high steer Help!!

I installed a 3.5" Rock Krawler lift on a 2013 JKU and recently added an Synergy High steer kit. The kit came with a track bar relocation bracket ( Mounts to axel and raises track bar). My track bar seems like its to high now not sure if I need that bracket or not??? Thanks Shawn

did the steering kit also come with new drag link?

The high steer kit allows for the drag link to be mounted on the top of the knuckle rather than on the bottom like the stock DL. The track bar bracket pushes the track bar up an equal amount so they remain parallel to each other. If you did not also "flip" the drag link then, yes, using that track bar bracket will have the track bar up to high.

This is good to know. Is there any benefit to flipping the drag link if it and the track bar are already parallel?

Flipping the drag link is a way to increase the roll center and give a little better handling on and off road. On the road it can help with bump steer.

If you are lifted over 3", the drag link flip can help out quite a bit; however, if your DL and TB are parallel and you don't have any problems...no real need to flip.

If you are under 3" of suspension lift, the drag link flip will cause problems as your DL will make contact with the frame as you begin to stuff the passenger tire.

Yes, That was the reason for getting the kit. I was feeling the occasional dip from the road in the steering. ( The steering wheel would follow the dip in the road) I solved that problem. Now Im questioning whether my front and rear track bars are parallel now?? With angle finder front is 10 degree and rear is 15 degree. Front trackbar has the bend in it, seems it would be more parallel with drag link if it was straight. Thanks Shawn

Pull a string from center of each bolt eye in the trackbar and measure the angle of the string. Do the same for the drag link if there is a bend in it as well. This will give you a better reading and allow you to compare angles.

I appreciate your help on this!! I measured the track bars and the drag link using the string method and got 5 degrees on all three. So this leads me to believe. Prior to installing the draglink flip kit that my track bars where not parallel?? That would mean Rock Krawler produced a lift with unparalleled track bars!!
