Default BF Goodrich All-Terrain 275/70/18 Tires - 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara PSI

The max cold PSI for my BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires that I installed is 80 PSI. The recommended tire pressure(assuming stock 255/70/18 tires) on the door jamb is 35psi. Should I go by the door jamb's recommended pressure of 35 PSI or increase even though it is not he stock tires? Let's assume we are talking about on road driving for best performance/gas mileage. I pumped them all up to 70 psi the other day and it seems to be riding good.

Also, is the tire pressure sensor able to be adjusted by the dealer? If its still stock programed will calculating low tire pressure be right with the non stock tires?

OMG--AIR THEM DOWN..... perfection is in the eye of the beholder, but i ran the exact same tires for some time on my cherokee years ago, & i ran them at about 29-31 psi. low enough to get a little softer ride, but high enough for even wear. 70 psi is an insane number to run on a jeep-thats more commercial grade psi for heavy loads and hauling. disregard the max psi rating on any tire unless you're applying commercial grade loads.--hope this helps

X2 The number on the door goes with a c load rated tire you are now running a d or e load rated tire (I didn't look it up). That psi is way high and will affect your ride and braking in cold or wet on road driving. Good choice on the tires though!?
