Last weekend I installed a Skyjacker 2.5 inch lift in my JKU. I have been amazed this week at how different my Jeep feels with the lift. It rides so much smoother now and generally feels a lot better. I wasn't expecting it to make that big of a difference - was only expecting it to sit higher.

 

I also noticed quite a difference the first week or so after my lift. It's like a totally different vehicle. Now I can't remember how it was before, though.
