Default 4 in lift on an 07 and hard to keep in my lane on the highway

i just got an 07 jeep with a 4 in pro comp lift and 35's and its fine in town but on the highway its a little bit of white knuckle driving. looking at getting some RC control arm relocating brackets to help the camber. i checked the toe in and it seems fine. i also checked the front axle and its 1/2 in off to driver side but the rear end is the same and i was told it would be fine as long as they both are equal. anyone have advice on this? feels like im hit with a wind gust when no wind outside.

I can't post a link, but if you click my username and look at threads Ive started I had a similar issue and fixed it by adding adjustable lower control arms to adjust caster.

you are probably about to be asked: what's included in your kit? Do you have any adjustable control arms yet? Relocation brackets? Are your track bars adjustable? What PSI and tire size are you running?

Definitely want front lower and rear upper arms to really dial it in properly. Also check your tire pressure. It could affect it a little.

i did not put the kit on it was put on by the dealer but it looks to be front springs, rear spacers, pittman drop, shocks, steering stabalizer, brake line drops, rear track bar relocator. thats all i can tell. its got 35x12.50x17 fc-2 tires, i will check psi tomorrow. to be flat honest i cant afford the 280-500 adjustable arms so the $100 drop brackets look like a good buy. what they do seems to make sense and they are made for a 3.5-4 in lift.

The drop brackets aren't going to help all that much if it's flighty. They are more to correct the drive shaft angle. Look in the suspension section for used stuff. Always drop brackets and what not being sold. New arms should cost about 250 or so. If I recall there is a Guy selling arms and brackets for about 100 bucks. Tire psi should be around 28-30 if I rememeber correctly. There is a bunch of threads about it on here. I personnally have 34's and run 32psi. Slightly high but it works for me.

If they put a dropped pitman arm on with no track bar drop/raise that is a large bump steer issue. They also put alot of extra stress on the steering system.

Front lower control arms set around 23.25" will get your caster back and make the jeep much more stable. Mine went from pretty squirrely on the highway to being able to drive with one finger by the addition of these. But if drop brackets fit your budget then go for it.

You need to correct your caster to get rid of the "flighty steering". To do that you need upper or lower adjustable control arms. Your next investment would be a front adjustable track bar to relocate your front axle to center the Jeep. At the same time you can get a rear adjustable trackbar also or just get a trackbar bracket that will let you reuse the factory one.

You can buy the RC geometry brackets. I have them and they worked perfectly with the 4" lift. Got rid of 95% of the flightyness on the steering.

They are $89 shipped to your door from RC. But there was a guy in the for sale section selling a set of AEV's control arm brackets for $75 shipped new.
