So yesterday I did a body lift on my Unlimited. The instructions CLEARLY stated that the Unlimited has 12 body mounts.The kit provides 12 blocks and related hardware. I could only find 10 mounts on my JK. I wasted two hours looking for the extra two mounts but never found them. I searched the forum, checked the company's web site, kicked the dog, cursed the stars ,and phoned a friend all just to find out there are only ten mounts.

I was really impressed with the quality of the kit, but the instructions were wrong. Was I missing something here?? Some Unlimiteds have 12 and some don't ??

I talked to a friend of mine(another forum member) this morning and he said he ended up with two extra mounts and hardware when he did his two door(same body lift manufacturer)

What gives ??

Ya, we've only got 10 body mounts. I have yet to hear of someone using those last 2. Normally you can save a few bucks by getting the body lift for the 2-door and it working the same.

Kinda shady, but that's how it goes.

 

It was specifically for the Unlimited.

Wow, my '08 Unlimited only has 10 mounts. Guess that's something they changed swiftly.

Same here on my 10.. i used all 12 so i'm not sure why would have extra mounts leftover unless they are not getting the middle ones installed

 

There's nothing like spare parts after a install
