Default 2" Lift on 2013 Unlimited?

I just traded my 08 JK Unlimited for a 2013, and wanting to know if they have fixed the issue of the front sitting lower? On the 08 I used a 2' Skyjacker kit and ended up machining an extra set of blocks for the front from 1/2" thick aluminum to get the stance right. Shortly after that they starting selling kits that already came with thicker blocks in the front.. Is that needed on the 2013? I'm debating about pulling my extra aluminum spacers out of the front of the 08 since my 13 won't be here until Friday...

Go ahead and pull them. Most Jeeps come with a rake forward from the factory.

Though we like to "fix" it, the front rake angle is not an issue for Jeep to fix. It is designed in primarily for handling reasons. The rake provides down force at highway speeds to increase stability. Once "corrected" air gets under the hood and provided lift which results in a lighter stearing at high speeds.

That said, it looks bad and we all fix it. So keep your spacers (and any other mods that you can) for the new rig.

Thanks for the replies, it worked out good.. While they sent a driver 300 miles to pick up the one I ordered, I had an extra day to pull my front aluminum leveling blocks and my good steel wheel spacers...

Teraflex leveling kit, 2" up front and modest 1" in back give a nice stance untill a big boy lift is acquired.
