Default building slowly exhuast, CAI, etc but need help

I feel like my jeep wants to do more, but is being held back. I upgraded the exhaust to a stainless steel magnaflow system, CAI, but still stock plugs. Should I be looking for a tuner? higher plugs? move to iridium for better burn and smoother flow?

07 wrangler sahara unlimted, 410 gears, 35 12.50 17 3.8l

just the exhaust alone it runs smoother, the CAI breathes well, I think I need a stringer spark since im set up for it? I need help, is going up in plugs, going to be ok?

Or just a tuner to set my tire size and tune that way? the bullyguard system I can get cheap/ Seems like it has all I can use.

In the old days before computer you upgraded exhaust, ignition, and air flow. but now the computer still has control, so I assume tuner would help/ But what about a nice set of ngk iridiums for a better burn, performance, and flow. or is the exhuast, intake, all just junk?

I would suggest a spark plug upgrade, as you've already got the intake and exhaust taken care of.

But you should get a tuner. Hypertec and Diablo Trinity are pretty popular programmers. Superchips has a new one out that's supposed to be pretty sweet.

I take it you have an auto? One thing i found when we were running 4.10's with 35's it was a dog.Gear swap to 4.88's,opened the exhaust,CAI,Flashpaq= lots of low end torque, back to stock rpm's,fuel mileage up.

Gear swap would be best.

A Superchips or similar tuner would benefit you way more than any exhaust or Cold air intake. Check out the SprintBooster as well. It is pricey for what you get but it works. Some of the newer programmers actually incorporate the same features that the Sprintbooster offers. BTW, I still have stock exhaust and intake including factory air filter.

Default So would moving up to iridiums and some type of flash pack be the final step?

Save your money, don't waste it on CAI, exhaust, and programmers. Regearing will be the best thing you can do

Unless you are due for plugs, don't waste your money.

I forgot to mention the headers, exhaust, and custom tune from Ripp. That provides dyno-proven results.

Gears would still be best. 4:88 or 5:13

I will regear, but with the upgrade in exhaust its a nice sound and feel like i got a bit more in the pedal, the Cai is just more air. I work in an auto parts store (by the way yell for a hook up) and I have a chance to throw a set of denso iridiums in, free, no cost, the guy is trying to push them on our store. I just wonder if this is a logical step?

also, besides gearing, anyone have suggestions on tuners?

And thanks so much, re gearing is next on the list

Totally change to Iridiums and upgrade your factory plug wires I used Granatelli Motorsports and it helped a lot did the exhaust CAI and throttle body spacer and was not thrilled with the result of spending that much cash until I plugged in the BullyDog GT tuner and uses the 93 octane tune and holy shit it was like a different vehicle able to spin 33" DuraTracs on hill climbs where it used to big down...unfortunately my 09 burned in a fire in my shop the RUBICON should be here in a week and living 10 miles from the plant I actually get to see it built!

I was about to look into a bullydog, does it let you tell teh computers what tires your running? I keep hearing about superchip, flashpac, but Bully is new and supposed to be the next best friend for a jeep
