Default what length brake lines?

Looking at picking up a set of crown brake lines from quadratec. I plan in running a RK 2.5" lift. Should I go with the 1"-2.5" line or the 3"-4". I know I will net over the 2.5"s the lift says it is.

I run Crown 4-6" lift brake lines with my RK2.5.

They work great and will still be good if I ever go bigger.

Depending on which Rock Krawler kit you get depends if it will come with brake lines.

When do you plan on doing the lift? Which lift are you planning on doing?

Going to do the lift probly in the spring. Going with the stock mod 2.5" and building it up from there, arms, shocks, etc.

Built it up to what point?

The lift kits are more economical to get as a kit that has everything than it is to slowly build it. Granted it doesn't hurt the wallet as much to go slow but overall you will end up paying more.

If you look at the Rock Krawler 2.5 Flex you end up with front brake lines, if you get the Max Travel and up (like the xfactor) you end up with front and rear brake lines.

I figured I would go with the RK lift in pieces so I get what I can when I can. I have a gift cert from last Christmas for quadratec and I like their exclusive crown brake lines. I wanted to start with coils and front track bar and add rear upper and front lower arms plus a rear trac bar with fox shocks all at one time. Just need to convince my bank account of that! Not looking to go crazy as 99% of my wheeling is driving up and down the beach.

Makes sense. Go with the 3-4" lines. You don't want to have to much line that can get in the way of other parts.

And when it comes time for the lift let me know how I can help!
