Default JK Bugout Vehicle Build

I am the proud new owner of a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It will be built as a bugout vehicle. After much thinking and rethinking my front axle (dana 30 issue) I have decided that as a bugout vehicle it would be best left as a dana 30 due to the higher availability of parts and such in an end of the world scenario (plenty of sports and saharas out there vs rubicons). Also, I would like to do light to moderate trails on the weekends as well. I have a few questions and would like to post my build list for critiques and suggestions.

1. I have done extensive research on the dana 30 and tire size. From what I have read a dana 30 will be perfectly fine beefed up with 33's on moderately difficult trails. correct?

2. I have already purchased the artec kit. (truss and gussets). Can you sleeve with this setup as well?

3. The major weakness with the dana 30 once beefed up is the R&P. Can this be fixed with a high quality regear and cryo? Would this still be the HUGE weakness as I want to go with RCV Shafts?

Build list (please critique and give your opinions)

-Rock Krawler 2.5 max travel
-AEV Pintler Whels
-Treadwright Guard dog 33's
-Alloy USA Rear Axle Shafts
-ARB Air Locker Rear
-ARB Air Compressor
-RCV Front Axle Shafts
-Aussie Locker Front
-ARTEC dana 30 Armor
-Sleeves
-Reid Racing Knuckles
-4.56 Regear
-Off road evolution bumper
-Winch (brand reccomendations welcome)
-Evo rock sliders and skids

thanks in advance!

Sounds like a solid build for a 33in tire but I'd would go with Nitto trail grappler if you have the money to do so a much tougher tire, if it is a bugout jeep can't be having a tire go bad

They are all solid tire but I've had all three.
But for me I think the Nitto are much better quality than good year and bfg. For an example I had a 38in mtr/k then bought a Nitto mud grappler for an off road tire, but now I'm selling my goodyears lol

I would do the gussets and that is it. There is nothing you can do to fix the weakest part of the D30, which is the size of the r&p, except use a bigger axle. 4.56 gears are way too low for 33's, and will make the axle even weaker due to the finer teeth. And a locker will be the icing on the cake for the destruction of a D30. I would do a locker in the rear if you decide to use one. Honestly, I think you will be surprised what you can do off road just adding some good mud tires.

I think it looks like a fine build with which to go have fun wheeling, camping, etc.

As a bugout/world's-end vehicle? Maybe not.

Congrats on the purchase, though, you're going to love it!

In my opinion bug out vehicles need to be diesels or a gas truck with great mpg (for a truck) like the ford ecoboost motors in their F-150 or the new hemis in the Rams

Quadratec just posted pics on Facebook of their 'world's-end' Jeep as a muse to the supposed end of the world tomorrow on 12-21.

But yes, the best bugout vehicles run on diesel and other unrefined fuels because all the mortals will be scavenging for refined fuels. They also have solid rubber/kevlar tires, because I hear zombies like to pop tires by biting them. I think the sad reality is that a vehicle won't be of much use beyond what's left in the gas tank if things really start going tits-up. It's good to have a plan-B to shelter in place for a while, and then maybe move to a remote location on foot.
