Default 2 dr Driveshaft issue?

So I've just got a BDS 3" lift on my 2007 2dr X, and running 35" tires, will I need to replace my DS and if so, when do I need to change them and which one (front or back) should I replace first??

Yes 2dr. Over a year. I have flexed the suspension to the max and no issues whatsoever.

So far with a 3.5" lift, I've noticed the rear top Repza joint (the one at the transfer case) has a tendency to get hot, particularly when driving at highway speeds for say 10-15 minutes. If kept under 50 MPH it gets warm, but not hot, and it can be driven a whole day like that. This would be the first one to fail, imo. The rear most joint used to get warm/hot as well, but I adjusted the pinion and now it’s not affected by the angle (severe angle causes friction which equates to heat, which is bad).

BTW since the Jeep is my DD, I do have a Coast 1310 rear, just haven’t installed it yet. But it's there in case of emergency.

As for the front, I haven’t noticed any temperature variations with it at all. I believe the only way that one will fail is if you have an automatic, or if you flex a lot.

You will see them slinging grease and start to make noise before the joints fail. Just get into the habit of looking at them regularly to inspect the rubber seals. Depending on your driving habits, you may be able to prolong replacing the drive shafts, but ultimately I think it’s inevitable.
