There's a write up on here about trimming your stock fenders. Supposedly it's pretty easy. There is also a really good video on YouTube under jeep fender mods. Good luck!

yes i would chop fenders first before you spend the money
i wished i would have choped mine instead of spending money i went with xrc fenders and the quality is okay ill be going wider when i get 40s

I've heard great reviews on the fenders by both Ace engineering and Poison Spyder. Metalcloaks look awesome but seem to be a bit expensive, not sure if that's a factor for you.
My advice would be to try and do the fender trim first, and if you mess up then its no big deal since you were planning on getting new ones anyways. But you'll definitely learn something while trying it and maybe get the look you desire!

We will be putting a set of the Warrior Tubular Flat Fender on our JK soon.

I love a lot of the aftermarket fenders, but dang...that's way too much to spend on plastic fenders.
