Tom Woods front driveshaft installed
I got it installed today. Took it up to 75 mph and no vibration.
I just wanted to share a little tip. I couldn't get enough room to swing my mallet hard enough to budge the flanges. My pulley puller is also ungodly huge and didn't fit in the small space. An air hammer/chisel knocked the flanges out real quick and easy. I think I paid $35 for mine at harbor freight a couple years ago.
An air ratchet is also very helpful for the removal and install, and of course an impact wrench is required.

Question for you about the driveshaft. Did you look into Adam's Driveshaft? I need to buy a driveshaft now and I don't know what to get. I have a 2012 unlimited with a 4" lift with 35's. $450 for Tom's and $370 for Adam's. I know $80 isn't much but I wasn't planning for this.

I doubt there's really all that much difference between all the makers.
I see some people don't like their u-joints, but Woods stands behind them so I figure they are probably ok. I've only had one u joint fail in my life and it was on a 25 year old truck that we used to do all kinds of stupid shit in. Maybe I'm lucky.
The front OEM driveshaft on my '98 XJ was vibrating and after checking the usual things (driveshaft angle and caster, condition of U joints, double cardan joint and slider) I determined that the slider had too much play and looked into having it rebuilt. I checked 3 shops locally and they wanted $225-250 to rebuild. Then I checked online and the price was just about the same, but then I had to pay for shipping both ways. Contacted Adams Driveline and their price was the same. Have the opportunity to meet and talk with Tom Woods at an event a couple years ago I witnessed his customer service. He brought a NEW driveshaft to the event and assisted the Jeep owner to install the driveshaft. I decided that when I needed a new driveshaft I would contact Tom Woods Driveline. They have a great deal on a HD driveshaft with upgraded double cardan joint assembly and U joints for $305 with FREE shipping.
The quality of his product and customer service are what makes Tom Woods driveshafts the choice by a lot of Jeep Speed and KOH participants. You get what you pay for.
