Default 4.5" bs or 5.0" bs

Iv been looking at a lot of wheels and can't decide if I want 4.5" of back space or 5.0". Is that 1/2" going to make that much of a difference as far as strain on the axle? Thanks for the help.

It all depends what your plans are for your jeep. 4.5 bs would be better choice. As for your ball joints they starting to go the min you left the stealer ship.

I finally found some rims that are 4.75" bs which is only a 1/4" difference which I'd imagine couldn't make that much of a difference. I don't dd my jeep in fact iv had it over a year and only have 8k miles on it. So I hope to do some more up grades before having to replace ball joint.

Lots of guys are running 35s with 4.75bs and not rubbing, but once u hit a 13 inch tire or 37s your most likely going to rub on ur frame and LCA'S

But 4.75 will work fine for 35s or less
