Default What MPG's is everyone getting out of their 2012's?

I'm curious as to what people are getting for MPG in their 2012 JKU? I have a 2012 JKU Sahara auto and I'm only averaging about 13.5-14 MPG's. The only mods I've done so far are the Airraid CAI and I also have the Gobi Stealth rack. I've been noticing people claiming as much as 20 mpg, so I'm wondering what gives? My previous vehicle was a 2011 GMC Denali HD crew cab with the 6.0 V8, and I averaged about the same MPG's. One of the reasons for getting the Jeep was to get better mileage. It's my only disappointment.

What ever did you think JEEP= GAS MILAGE Not the same but my 2010 JKU WITH 5:13 gears , 35-17-11.50 MTR'S and 4 inch lift. I can still get A avg of 15/18 MPG at highway speeds. And I don't drive trying to get MPG.

2012 Sahara 6spd with 35's and 3.73... I get about 14-16 hand calculated average these days, maybe 18-19 hwy if I really try. Before the lift and tires I would get about 17-19 avg with the highest I've ever gotten being 20.5 on a full hwy trip to and through Ohio, all flat the whole way

I have a 2013 JKU 3.21 auto and stock I was getting 17-18 city and 21-22 highway. With a lift and 35's, I now average 16-17 city and if I'm lucky, I can make it past 20 on the highway, otherwise I'm at 18-19.

2013 jku sport 265/75-16 tires, 3.21 gears auto with 5000 miles and always hand figure my mpg and average around 17mpg have gotten low 20's and also have gotten 15mpg once or twice. I usually fill up around 250-300 miles or so. It started taking a dive in Novemeber when winter fuel came out. Just got back from a 500 mile road trip where speed was around 75mph and was over 17mpg round trip.

Still stock (ignoring the Spidertrax wheel spacers) 2012 JKUR with 6 speed (stock 4.10 gears) factory hardtop but running now with Bestop soft. Only about 1,500 miles young. About 16 +/- 0.5 in start and stop. Add 1.5 highway. Flat Florida roads and I drive conservative. A little better than you but nothing great. Only going down when the bumpers, winch, lift and tires go on.

Are you still rocking 3.21s with 35s?

2012 JKU 3" lift with 373 gears & 34" BFG K 2's MT. Before lift and tires averaged about 19, best on highway 20.5 mpgs. After mods I get 15 - 16 mpgs. I am pretty happy with it.

2013 (sorry, you asked for '12, but minus a couple mostly cosmetic changes, they're the same thing) JKU Sport base 6-speed with 3.21 gears still rolling on the Honda Civic spare donuts I'm getting hand-calculated 19 mpg average, with mostly highway miles. Computer shows almost 22 on the highway at 65 mph, but I put more faith in my math of appx 415 miles on a full tank of 100% gas, though I fill up with a couple of gallons still in the tank.

TBH I really don't care about MPG as long as it stays above 10 MPG I'm happy. Plus I drive mine like I stole it. I'v been getting a-lot of KIA's who try to mess with me at lights. So I have to drop the hammer and dump the clutch and show them who's boss JK all the way
