Does your JK keep all the oil you put in for the full time between oil changes?

No offense but this poll is a waste of time. There are FAR more JK's on the road that don't burn oil than do. You can confirm this by calling any Chrysler service department. Yeah, there are a lot of oil burners, mine does as well, but to say they ALL burn oil simply isn't true, not even close...

Thank you Ryan. I was misinformed obviously! Thank you for making me feel like a total idiot. I conceded to you in the other thread. Thanks. Have a great day now....

All internal combustion engines use a certain amount of oil, it's the way they are built. Now the amount of use will vary with age and tolerances within the engine. Some are better than others, but to say they don't use some oil between oil changes if a falsism! Just sayin...

That's true.
Buit, if the oil level on the dip stick doesn't change much between oil changes, I think it could be said it's not burning any oil.

With that definition in mind....
My '08 with 58,000 miles doesn't burn any oil.

Mine does, I change my oil every three thousand miles. And when I do it about 1-2 quarts low.

Sorry, I didn't mean that personally, so don't take it the wrong way. It is a frustrating problem, and obviously quality has been an issue with these motors. I guess it is just Jeep thing. Seriously all motors burn some oil, but some are excessive, like yours and mine...
