Default Tire Carrier Plug

I'm awaiting delivery of my new rear bumper w/ tire carrier... I'm wondering, what do I do with the current tire carrier? I've been searching some dealer sites for the plug to put in so I don't have a gaping hole in the tailgate... no luck. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Default just take it off and put the bolts back in the holes?

I don't exactly understand the question you just take it off and put the bolts back in the holes?

That's what I did and have been running it for 18,000+ miles

The big vent thing has nothing to do with the tire carrier and you want to leave that. it helps with air pressure & interior humidy and prob a few other things.
