Will Rubi sliders hit my 35's in rear
I installed the Teraflex 2.5 BB lift along with a M.O.R.E 1" body lift last weekend. On Thursday my 35 x12.50 15s came in and I had them installed on my 15x10 Cragers with 4" backspace.
It looks to me that the tire will hit the slider if I try to stuff it in the fender.
I will pull my jack out tomorrow and see if it hits as I have had to work late the last two days. I was wondering if it does how to remedy.
Thanks in advance for the help as I am newbie to the Jeep world but glad to be wrenching on somethign again.

Yep, they need to be cut shorter, along with the pinch seam behind the slider.
I just used my trusty 5" grinder with a cutting wheel in it, zips right through like butter
A saws-all with a metal blade would work fine too.
I removed the sliders to do it, to make it easier, then painted pinch seam and the end of the slider when I was done, then I stuck the plastic end cap back on

With 35's you'll be fine. Your tire (axle) will actually move slightly back as it goes to full stuff. If you go to 37's, you might want to trim a little as mentioned above.
I'm still at 35's and was fine w/the factory rails and pinch weld as is from the factory. However, I did trim my pinch weld back and did shorten my rails by about 1.5"... why?... I guess to get the wife to come out and say what the he!! are you doing to you new Jeep (with my Sawzall in hand!) Plus I figured if I ever wanted to go to 37's it would already be done.
Anyway, if you're sticking with 35's you'll be fine as-is.
