3" Tf
ive already posted similar questions before but i received mixed answers....i was thinking about purchasing the the 3" tera flex lift...the cheap one(like 700 bucks) to accomodate 35x12.5's..17x9 procomps....with 4.75 backspacing...will i need more or does the basic kit come with everything? please help an amateur..lol
I purchased the 3" kit . I also ended up also gettting upper and lower control arms and an adjustable front track bar. I blew up my rear drive shaft due to the increased angle on the rear CV. I replaced it with a JE Reel. You need adjustable rear upper control arms to adjust the pinion angle. I am waiting for the front DS to follow suite.
With the lift and 35" tires it took some tweaking (air pressure, etc) to get the Jeep to handle the way I wanted it to. It is still not as good as stock on the street. If I had to do it over again, I would seriously consider a stock Rubicon and leave the suspension alone.

I have the TF 3"... you're definitely going to want the Reel rear drive shaft, I just replaced mine yesterday. Also at least adjustable rear upper control arms. And an adjustable front track bar as well.
With that said, I'm now running 35s and don't have any trouble at all. I think it is a great value and easy to install.

hmm...thanks for the input..looks like im gonna be spending more money than i thought...could i get away with just what comes with the kit and add on that other stuff later? or is it best to just do it all at once..i mean do i REALLY need the rear drive shaft and control arms and stuff or is it just nicer to have

but, in my opinion i think you better get atleast the upper control arms and an adj trac bar all at once with the kit.
i have 3" tf on mine and i have just the kit with shocks
I have had no issues
no track bars added no control arms added
the front axle doesn't shift till under flex at which point it moves more to driver side leaving a 2" gap on driver side between frame and shock and on pass side it is like 1.4 inch when on the ground flat it is 1 and a bit inch each side.
I'm happy with my jeep as it sits
