A lot of people regret 33"s, but anyone regret 34"s? (Tires, ugghhh!)
I see a lot of people regretting 33"s, wishing they had installed 35"s in the first place. But do people who install 34"s feel the same way?
35s generally measure out to be around 34 - 34.5'' depending on the model and brand of tire. my 315/70/17 hankook dynapro MTs specs were 34.6 if i remember correctly but once installed and run on 30psi the true measurement is more like 34". so if they are a true 34" installed, to answer your question, no, i don't regret the size. good compromise for off road/ DD .. would i like 37s? uhhh ya! but involves more mods and $$ and less city driveability.
Yes....sort of, but maybe not. Hypothetically, you'd be missing the opportunity to have an additional .5" of ground clearance. However, it all depends on the actual tire height, which is arbitrary. Your 34" tires "could be" as tall as someone else's 35" tires.
At the end of the day, your perception is a lot more affected than your ability to clear obstacles. Unless you are wheeling hardcore, the net difference is not going to make your life miserable, and until tire manufacturers become anal retentive about actual height versus labeled height there is never going to be a clear answer.

Go with 35s! If you're even asking this question you'll regret anything less than 35s, I know I do. Any tire less than a 35 should come with a warning label that says you'll regret buying me in 6 months
I have 315/75r16 which are 34.6. I have no regrets because I got them for a steal but when I get new tires ill be going with a true 35x12.5. Everything looks huge when u get them but the shrink fast and you u want bigger. So I would go as big as your lift and budget can allow for.
