Steering Radius Issue after Drag Link Flip Installed
Ok, I could be missing something really obvious here.
Jeep: 2012 Sahara Unlimited, standard D30 upfront. Teraflex 4" kit with all 8 arms. 33" Nittos.
Before:
Synergy Chromoly Tie Rod
Fox Steering Stabilizer (below tie rod)
JKS Adjustable Trackbar
After:
added + EVO Drag Link Flip
and Flipped my Steering Stabilizer up top.
Now, at full turn left or right, I'm not hitting my steering stops, where I was before the drag link flip.
Steering wheel straight, drives straight, axle is aligned left/right under the jeep, drives amazing on the road, aligned with tape measure (toe at 1/8"). I love how it drives with this kit. So awesome.
What I did to check it all out:
- Took steering stabilizer off - no go.
- Took tie rod off the drivers side and checked passenger - no go.
Geometrically, I can't see how installing a drag link flip / high steer would cause me to lose turning radius?
Thoughts?

Glad this was posted if been wondering if I should do the drag link flip or not. Also wondering how much difference does it actually make as far as better for the vehicle or just a better ride? Thanks and hopefully ppl can throw input on your problem as well.

You need to double check the location of your Steering Stabalizer? If its not set correctly it will stop the steering short. If the steering is binding it will stop short as well.

And for everyone else - the EVO drag link flip improved the handling of my Jeep significantly. If I had known how night-and-day it was, I would have picked up this kit when I did my lift a year ago!
