Default Help me pick a tire

I'm torn between the 265/70/18 nitto terra grappler or the cooper discovery ATP, does anyone have these? How are the rides? Aggressive looking? I'm more or a road driver then a off road, but I don't want any issues. And my jeep has no lift or any mods

I don't have experience with either. But from what I've heard...the grapplers are LOUD. Super aggressive looking too. Haven't heard much from the discovery side though. I like the look of the graps though.

The terra grappler is one of the most mild tires that nitto makes. The mud grappler is crazy aggressive and the trail grappler looks more like a normal mud tire. I have the terra grapps on my diesel truck and they are nice, quiet and work great for what the truck is used for which is pulling heavy trailers down the highway.

Default Terra vs Cooper

Both are not very aggressive and are pretty quiet (J.cyr8 might be thinking of the Trail Grappler or Mud Grappler). The Terra Grapplers are for almost entirely on-road users, as are the Coopers.

He is talking Terra Grappler not the Mud Grappler. Terra Grappler is an AT and is a great tire, I ran them on my F150 before I had my Jeep. The Mud Grappler is the aggressive MT that EVOJEEP and Moby run.

Grapplers are probably the quietest mud terrain I've ran. My 35"grapplers are much quieter than the 305/65/17 km2's that I had last. The only time I can hear them is when I'm slowly turning in parking lots. They are heavy and have stiff sidewalls though.

I have the Coopers. Good traction in the dirt and barely notice them at 75-85mph. Reviews online seemed decent and the price was fantastic.
