Default Pinch seam trim required? AEV lift

I have a 2010 jk unlimited rubicon with stock rubi rails. I am using a AEV 2.5 lift with stock wheels/tires right now and going to add 17" wheels and 35X12.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Anyone know if the rear pinch seam will need to be trimmed? Or how close it will come? Thanks

I have that lift and just had 35X12.50X17 KM2s installed. It looks really close when I quickly used a floor jack to check the clearance to make sure it was safe to drive. I'm planning on trimming the stock sliders and pinch seams.

I have had both the bfg 35 and Nitto 35, the Nitto will need a trim the bfg should get one as its real close but you might get away without it

Any chance you could take a pic? I just didn't want to cut before I know how much I should take off. If I can drive with it great but my tire place won't be doing any body work. Thanks for all the replies.

I trimmed mine, I have 35" nittos and the 2.5 AEV. They were very close. Its actually very easy to cut, just make sure you touch up the bare metal to keep from rusting. I did mine and also the rubi rails.

Do it to be safe.... My seam is about an inch or so away from the tire and I got a 4" Skyjacker lift with 35s

I wanna do mine, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I attached two pics so you can see where the tire is in relation to the slider/pinch seam. I maxed out the floor jack. I'll be trimming the sliders this weekend. At full stuff it would be very close or maybe touching.
