Default Which skid plate?

I have decided to get an oil pan/tranny skid plate. I am only aware of the skidrow and rockhard plates - leaning toward rockhard.

Any recommendations for one of these?
Something else?
Any problems with skidrow or rockhard?

Our Skid row has held up really well even hold up the middle of the jeep when high centered. It has taken several hits and just kept going really well.
The hardest part of the install was getting the engine mount brackets correct.

+2 for the Skid Row
Install was pretty easy....
I just had to move the auto trans cooler lines over a bit.
I found a good way to move them over, closer to the engine, and Im surprised they didnt figure it out and put it in the instructions

My vote is for the Skidrow Plate it mounts to the motor mounts up front. I am very glad I have it as the oil pan and cross beam are not protected from the factory. My friend who does not have one has beaten the underside of his JK really bad.

The Skidrow plate had some problems with rubbing. Perhaps they are resolve now. Don't know. Personally I like the form of the Rockhard.

+2 for the Rock Hard. It covers both engine and cat. Install isn't bad if you ask one of us who has done it. It makes a nice rock surfboard.

There is not any drilling. The install is not that hard. Some of the bolts are a little ackward to get at, but really not too bad. I balanced the skid on a floor jack and jacked it pretty close into place. There are four bolts that attach to tranny crossmember, 3 are threaded, one uses a nut and lock washer. I installd those loosely. Then I attached the mini skid that covers the one cat. 2 bolts hold it to the main skid and one to the frame. then I removed the floor jack and attatched the front two brackets to the skid and motor mount brackets. I checked everything for clearance issues and then tighten the bolts. There are pics of the front brackets in my gallery.

What about the rockhard for those of us who already have the Shrockworks rails inastaleed? Do we have to re-drill the rails? Can anyone please describe how these conflict, and how they fixed it? Thanks!
