Default 1" body lift on a 2012 stick JK

Did my taxes and I have enough for a 2.5" lift I was thinking of doing a 1" body lift just to be sure I can clear 35" tires. Would doing a 1" body lift affect the 6spd ability to shift properly?

you should be fine with 35's on the 2.5 lift and you can flex fully with peace of mind if you trim your fenders as well. but yes, the BL should be fine with your 6sp. you can either trim the inner boot to help with your 2,4,6 gears or you can order one of the BL kits with the shifter extension. just know that your bumpers will stay put with the frame so you will have a gap between body and bumpers. there is a rear bumper bracket fix for that though, unless you have an aftermarket bumper that also bolts to the hitch mounts.

If your running a stock rear bumper I would get the rough country 1.25 body lift it comes with the rear bumper brackets and shifter extension for around $100

Btw i run 35" tires with 1.25" rc body lift and 1.75 front and .75 rear coil spacers, no rubbing
