Default Front bumper question?

If I get a new front bumper do I have to do something with my water pump seeing I have a 2013 rubicon... I heard that the water pump has to be relocated.. Is there any truth to this

Not the water pump, the vacuum pump may need to be relocated depending on the bumper.
It's not that hard a sawzall grinder chisle and hammer will get the job done.

I was told AEV and ARB are the only bumpers you can install without having to move the vac pump. Go AEV! Best looking and well made bumper made!

Not true, if you plan on running a winch on your aev bumper you need to relocate the pump

Btw I have an aev bumper and a 2012

Any bumper you look at where the winch sits inside the frame rails 100% you will need to move the pump and probably cut off the stock bracket
If the bumper has a winch mount that sits on top of the bumper you may not need to mov the pump

Anyone know if this bumper would be a good decision ? I really like the look of it and it says it bolts on the the original bumper mounts

Rugged Ridge XHD non-winch mount did not need the canister relocated but if you got the winch mount version, it did.

Pretty much, as said above, any recessed winch mount bumpers need it.

My Body Armor front bumper works fine with the pump in it's stock location.

I have this ebay special bumper and a 9k badlands winch, I didn't have to move the pump. If I upgrade to the 12k I will have to move it.
