3.6L Tune Cracked? Unichip VS Hypertech
So these companies claim to have "cracked" the codes and appear to be some sort of piggy back units that vary in design between each other. These units claim to be able to auto adjust the facotry tune based on your mods like CAI, Exhaust, or running higher octane fuels etc... something many of us would be very interested in if we are to invest those types of mods. Curious as to what the thoughts are here on the forum. Can't really seem to find details on specifically what each and everyone does, some descriptions are more detailed than others but links attached below..... Discuss!!

The only tuner that has "cracked" the code is diablosport, which they actually stop the rolling code. Making it 2010 and older style of ecu.
Both hypertech and unichip are an interference style tuner, they modify the signals going to the stock ecu which in turn makes more power or gives better fuel economy. If you are worried about your warranty go with hypertech or unichip. They can be removed with no sign of having them on in the first place

More than just power, if I'm spending that money I also want the features of the Superchip Trail Dash. I already did the locker bypass and traction control bypass and I have the AEV procal for the tire size, gear ratio and others and these cost around $150 but it would be nice to have all these plus the extras the Trail Dash can do.
