Default arb compressor wiring help so i can finish install

got everything down now for my o.b.a arb compressor except for two wires. in the arb insturctions one wire says connect to ignition and the other says connect to dash illumination.

correct if im wrong but would the wire for the ignition be the turn on lead wire for the arb switch in the cab and the dash wire would be the actual power source for the light in the switch

cause if so i can run a large gauage wire with a fuse coming from the battery for the dash light

give me thoughts

thanks nick

Im sure you could if you know which one to use. I ran power off of cigarette lighter and used the trusty old volt reader to find a dash illumination wire. Haven't had a problem running this way.

I did the same and no problems either. If I remember right I think my directions said to use the cig lighter.
