Cutting factory bumper to make a Stubby???
I have scene a pics on here where someone cut the factory bumper to make a stubby, i am not the brightest crayon in the box and would very muct appreciate a how to lesson on this before i go destroying my bumper and having to hear the wife complain about it.
p.s. the bumper i saw was cut just to the outside of the humps ( not sure the technical term) on the bumper.

factory stubby front bumper
that is the link i used.. rubidozer and Woods explain it really well.
also RedRock JK advised me to use plastic epoxy to essentially glue the plastic rather than weld it and it worked out grrrreat and saved time. it dries white so you will have to spray the bumper with rustoleum brand black paint... it matches perfectly so you dont have to paint the whole bumper just the white part.
i did mine sunday try it out!! good luck

Step by step help
Ok i have seen alot of pics that helped me decide to do it but the one how to that Rubidozer posted would not show the pics only the text so i am still a little confused as to how the waste that is cut off is attached to the ends to make it all look good , and is everyone cutting at the edge of the plastic air dam underneth or are people taking them off or shortening them to.
I want to stubby my front and rear bumpers this weekend if i can get a step by step with pics that i can see. I greatly appreciate any and al help i can get!!!!

you don't completly cut the end off ... you cut the back half of it off and then melt the plastic together after bending it back to fit... look at this link and you will see the light!
