Default Rough Country's 4" long arm kit installed on my JKU

Well, I recieved my kit yesterday and spent all evening installing it. All I can say is WOW what a ride difference! I finally have a soft smooth easy to drive Jeep again. If anyone is ever wondering if a long arm is worth the money? My answer is 100% yes.
This kit is very well engineered, everything fit perfectly, and the intsructions are very detailed. I will have more to come including pictures soon. If anyone is thinking about this lift, think no more, it's well worth the money! Way to go RC!

How hard was the install? Any major fab work that needed to be done? I have the RC 3.5 Series 2 and was going to get the full set of adjustable shorts but been waiting to see what people are saying about the long arm kit. Love my 3.5 and are adding .75" spacers to compensate for armor and would love to dial in the suspension a little more. Glad to hear you are happy with it! Pics soon?

The hardest part was cutting off the control arm brackets. It wasn't too bad just time cunsuming. I did it on the floor of the garage with a grinder and sawzall. It was so worth the ride. The difference is unbelievable, you feel nothing in the floor or steering wheel anymore. The install wasn't bad at all, the crossmember bolted right up. I never used a slang word and threw no tools, lol. I will post pictures when the rain stops! can't wait to flex it out! At 4"s of lift the control arms have just a slight angle to them at ride height.

Cant wait to see the pics. Contemplating lifts and really liked my RC 2.5 on my first jeep. Hate all the negativity about the company/product.

Have no complaints with my 3.5". Hate to see people ragging on RC. RC Rep had a question for you, will the ride quality be improved over your short arms or be fairly similar. Just nervous about cutting off the mounts, I know they could be welded back on but just want to do it right the first time.

Cool beans. Kinda thinking about going with their LA upgrade. Cheapest on the market from what I'm seeing. Kinda wanted to go with a RE or FT LA but imo its a little to much for just a upgrade kit. Plus from their install video. Kit doesn't look that hard to do. Looking forward to your pics and let us know the quality as well.

So ready to see some pics. My jeep guy is pushing hard for me to get this kit on my rubi. From what I hear the quality is outstanding and all the joints are rebuildable

I been told to stay away from RC so I was looking Evo or Tera flex, but for the extra money I could use it else where. I look forward to seeing more photos and how great this kit is, I'm following to see if this is the way to go for me.
