Default $1000 to spend on a lift kit...

like the title says I'd like to keep my lift kit under $1000. I want to get to 35s, and the jeep is my daily driver. so ride quality is important to me.

what kit do I go with?

There are several coil lifts out there under your budget especially if you can install yourself....I highly recommend you do. Jeeps are very easy to work on. Teraflex, Rock Krawler to name a few.

All depends on what kind of wheeling you do. I see mostly sand and have added heavy bumpers and skid so I went with AEV's 2.5 with their drop brackets. Teraflex is a good over all lift. Rock krawler is good if you need a lift to flex a lot.

Well, to continue with the OP's question, What about Old Man EMU lifts? I bring them up because I have read many times that they are one of the most comfortable rides on the highway (i.e. Daily Driver). I don't have one and wonder the same thing as the OP.

AEV 2.5" with geometry correction brackets, sounds like the right fit for you

what tires did you put on it? did you drive with it lifted without larger tires at all?
