Default 2012+ JK 2 door Extended Fuel tank

Does anyone make such a product? Or will the fuel tank from a 4 door JKU fit a 2 door? Range is a primary concern expecially when going on long trips.

I'm not sure about any larger aftermarket fuel tanks, but would it be easier to just carry external gas cans (Gerry cans, rotopax, etc)?

X2 the 4dr wranglers have them but not built for 2doors ... I'm planning on Jerry cans as well...

Somebody (Polly Performance I think) makes a tank that goes in the rear like the TJ. You could install that tank and add a valve to switch between the two tanks for double your current capacity.

Also, talk to your local hot rod shop. You could get a custom tank made to fit your needs.

Nope right now it would be a custom job.

Personally I carry (2) 5 gal cans when making long trips. Think about how many times you can fill those with fuel vs purchasing and installing a custom fuel tank.

GenRight makes a 20 gallon fuel cell for the 2dr, it replaces the rear trunk. I looked in to it for the jeep when i purchased but with cost and other factors i decided to go with an orfab carrier with rotopax cans.

ARB is a reseller for an Australian company that makes a product call the long ranger. Might check that out. I have been looking myself.

Longranger apparently does not work with pentastar. Also does the genright work seamlessly with OEM fuel tank? so when I fill up it filld that tank up as well?
