Default Lift kits

Hello everyone, I am basically new to the Jeep world, I want to get a lift kit for my Jeep which I use for a daily driver to and from work.
What is the average height of the lift that everyone gets and what are good brands to go with. Is 2' a good height or should I go higher.

2.5" lift seems to be most popular as with appropriate bump stops you can run 35" tires. It also seems to be the magical number for no real "issues" that come with lifting a Jeep.

Welcome to our world! You'll love your new jeep. When you're talking lifts, there's a lot to consider. Are you going to take it off road a lot, or mostly drive it on road? Do you want it to flex (lots of suspension articulation) or is it merely to fit bigger tires? Also, how big of a tire you want has to do with how much lift you need. All these factors contribute to the type and amount of lift you purchase.

Does anyone know if 35" tires will fit with a 3.5 inch lift?

I am not going off road much, mostly for the road and merely for bigger tires, what do you recommend.

You could go with 37's if you wanted to.
