Default Help On New Rims & Tires

Hey everyone so I have made my decision on my rim and tire selection. I just have some questions with back spacing and If I need to use a wheel spacer. The picture below is the setup I am going to purchase for my 2011 JKU that currently has a 2" full traction leveling kit. Now I noticed on the site I can have the rim have a 5.7 or a 4.53 back spacing.. What would benefit me more with a 11 inch tire? I want somewhat of an aggressive look but this is going to be an everyday driver so nothing to crazy. Thanks for your help!

Also one more thing I just want to double check the bolt pattern on a 11jku is 5x5 correct?

5x5 is correct. depends how far out of the fenders you want your wheels/tires. 4.53 bs will push them out a bit and the 5.7" bs should keep them inside the flares. I have 4.5" bs on mine would perfer something with around 5-5.7 just so the tires were tucked in a little.

So with the 5.7 and a 11 Inch tire I wouldn't need a spacer to prevent rub? Cause thats what I am looking for.. the tire to stay within the flare and obviously no rub.

If you ever go wider, you will want the 4.5. It doesn't stick out much.

well the tire is 11 inches so should i go with the 4.53 or the 5.7 because I am going to be doing a decent amount of driving and I don't want shit being kicked up into the truck.

They are rugged ridge 17x9 and are approximately 4.5

Technically I think they are 4.6

The width is 305 and measures 12".

305/65R17

That is my JKU on the right. On the left is a TJ with a 285 width BFG M/T
