Default Moonroofs in freedom panels

Came up with this idea today and didn't realize it had already been done. :/ Seems way too pricey and I'm interested in doing it myself. Has anyone put Moonroofs in their freedom panels and is there a write up? I haven't seen it searching the threads.

I remember seeing one guy on here doing it...don't remember where though. Might have been buried in the "what was done this week" thread.

exactly. I would make them fixed and not able to open so I think with some fiberglass work and a gasket it wouldn't be too difficult. The rear would also be pretty badass to put a larger moonroof in. I've always liked how some of the landrovers and SUVs had the dual Moonroofs

ill attempt searching the "what was done to you jeep thread" thanks

It would almost be worth it if the whole panel was clear and tinted. Way too much for just some small windows.

It can be done as long as u seal it good.... There's a guy on here that took out the back side windows of the hard top and replaced them with sliding windows from an RV so his dog can get some fresh air! Looked cool too!

seems like a lot of work, with a lot of things that could go wrong, for already removable panels.
