Hey guys,

With the tax rebate just around the corner its time to put a little extra $$$ into the jk. This is initially what I had in mind,

(5) Nitto Terragrapplers 295/70R17
(1) AEV Spacer Suspension Lift 2 inch

I don't really do heavy offroad where additional flex is required, mostly just driving around on property/mud/snow. My question is, should I include the procal module to recalibrate the speedometer and will I need spacers to accomodate the new tires?

Yes on both accounts. The tires might only rub at full lock when turning though.

 

Thanks darkhelmet! In regards to the spacer, what is minimum size I can get away with?

 

Will the 2 in spacer kit remove the natural rake like the Teraflex leveling kit?

 

I was told by AEV that if you remove the factory spring isolator in the rear (as noted in install book) yes their spacer lift will level the JK out

 

I think you'd only need a 1". I have 285's and I only rubbed my front bumper's air dam. Other than that, even at full lock, I don't rub. Just my 0.02$

 

Get 1.5 Spidertrax wheel spacers.they are the best.

 

You need at least 1.25" to clear the studs

 

Is that a good idea to remove the isolator? I thought it cut down road noise.
